Info Week for Major Selection 2024
Date: 19th - 23rd February 2024
Engineering Info Week 2024 was a week-long event that provided Year 1 engineering students with a fantastic opportunity to make an informed decision about choosing their major. The event was specifically designed to help students explore their options and discover their passions.
One of the highlights of the event were the Guided Lab Tours, which allowed students to witness firsthand the practical work and projects undertaken by students in each major. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the nature of each field and helped students gain a better understanding of what studying that major would entail.
For those seeking face-to-face interactions, the Tea Mingling Sessions provided an opportunity to engage in quality conversations with faculty members from each department. Students had the chance to chat and gain a better understanding of the different majors offered, allowing them to gather valuable information and perspectives.
And let's not forget the fun activities! By actively participating in the events, students had the chance to collect stamps and play the Claw Machine, offering them the exciting opportunity to win prizes. Lucky charms were also available in limited quantities, adding to the enjoyment of the week.
